The elections committee is chaired by the SBA Secretary and plans and executes all student elections.

NOMINATIONS

Begin on February 21st, 2008 at 0945EST until March 2nd, 2008 1700EST

HOW TO NOMINATE SOMEONE ON CAMPUS PROCESS

 Place the name of your nominee in the "official repository" which is located at the library circulation desk.

OFF CAMPUS PROCESS

 If you are away from campus and would like to participate you may email nominations to the Elections Committee "SBAElections@vermontlaw.edu

NOTIFICATIONS

Each Nominee will receive a notification of nomination(s) slip in their campus mailbox by 1900EST.
Retractions must in writing and in the SBA Secretary's, campus mailbox by no later than 1700EST on Tuesday, March 4, 2008. Failure to do so will result in a placement on the ballot.

On SIP?

You may make alternative arrangements by emailing the SBA Secretary with in the allotted time frame to accept or deny a nomination.

ELECTION POLL DATES

Polls will run from Monday March 24, 2008 to Friday March 28, 2008.
Run off(s), if any, will run the following week March 31, 2008 to Friday April 4, 2008.

NEED AN ABSENTEE BALLOT?

Submit an email to the Elections Committee SBAElection@vermontlaw.eduwith the Subject line of "ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST" by no later than 1700EST Tuesday March 25, 2008.
In order for your ballot to be counted you must then complete the absentee ballot form Noon EST, Friday March 28, 2008.
